If I buy a ticket for a specific date, and cannot attend that day, what do I do?

Even though you entered a ticket date when purchasing, you are able to use your ticket any day throughout the festival. Just present your ticket at the entry gate.

Do you have flashing lights and strobe lights?

We have been advised by a guest that if you are sensitive to flashing lights or strobe lights that you should be cautious about attending our event.

Do we allow dogs?

Benton County Fairgrounds does not allow dogs. If you have certification for a support dog, the animal is allowed.

Is Northwest Winterfest an indoor or outdoor event?

Northwest Winterfest is an outdoor, self-guided walking tour that is accessible for those with disabilities.

Are animals allowed?

Only service animals with certification are permitted.

Can tickets be purchased on-site at the event?

Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online, however, they can be purchased at the ticket booth at the entrance.

Do we take credit cards onsite?

Yes we can take credit card payments for onsite tickets.

Are there any COVID-19 restrictions?

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative test is not required. Face masks are recommended but not required for guests.

Who are we?

Northwest Winterfest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that spreads cultural understanding and appreciation through family-friendly events.
Northwest Winterfest also gives regional artists opportunities to share their culture through art with the Eastern Washington region and beyond.

If I am Military can I buy tickets for my whole family at the Military discount?

Yes

If I am a First Responder, in the Medical Field, Police, or Fire Fighter can I buy
tickets for my whole family at this discount?

Yes. An ID Badge/Card is required for your discount.

Do you offer FREE parking?

Yes, we have hundreds of FREE parking spaces. 

Do you have VIP parking?

VIP Parking is not necessary at Benton County Fairgrounds due the abundance of convenient parking.

Do you require rent wheel chairs onsite?

No we do not have onsite wheel chair rental available.

What hours is the event open?

Since this is a festival of illuminated lanterns, they are best viewed after sunset. As sunset times change during the festival weeks, so do our hours. Here is the schedule:

February 10-28: 6:00p – 8:00p

March 1-12: 6:30p – 8:30p

March 13-20: 7:30p – 9:00p (Daylight Savings Time begins on March 13)

Are there restrooms onsite?

Yes we do offer the use of indoor restrooms from the Fairgrounds.
